...GOT PIONEER DV-350-S FROM A WEB SITE ON THE 22 OCTOBER 2002 WENT WRONG IN MARCH OF 2003 STILL UNDER WARRANTY RANG WEB SITE 4 TIMES ANS SENT EMAILS THAY SAY I HAVE TO SEND DVD PLAYER TO A SERVICE CENTER IN THE UP AS I AM DISABLED I FIND THIS VERY HARD TO DO WEB SITE SAY IT'S NOT UP TO THEM TO FIX IT. WHAT CAN I DO . AFTER SAILS IS OF NO HELP .HAVE STILL GOT DVD PLAYER NOT WORKING . LENS DIRTY OR WHAT?.WHAT CAN I SAY MACHINE WAS WORKING GREAT THEN JUST WENT WRONG. I PHONED PIONEER SERVICE CENTER TO FIND OUT WHAT TO DO THAY WERNOT TO HELPFUL .THAY SAY IT WILL BE ABOUT £120.00 TO FIX. BUT ITS ONLY 5 MONTHS OLD IT HAS NOT BEEN MISSUSED OR ANTHY THING LIKE THAT. ...I bought the Pioneer DV-350 as a birthday present to myself in December 2002, and have not been disappointed. The slim silver design is uncluttered and gives it a modern look that is unlikely to date quickly. I paid about £110 at Richer Sounds, Birmingham. I got a decent SCART lead at the same time. As far as I know, this exact model is no longer produced but second hand ones are available for less than £60. There may well be new ones lying around, so it’s worth looking. With the continued tumbling fall of DVD players and cheaper DVD Recorders, those looking for their first player could be inundated with choices but I hope you feel you can read on. Other reviews state that the player is multi-regional. I’m sure this is the case, but I bought mine on the understanding that it was only Region 2. In other words, would only play DVDs made... ...a Region free player seemed pointless! After a little more research I found out that my TV did support both formats, so a region free player was at the top of my Christmas list. More research told me that another useful feature found on many DVD players was the ability to playback MP3 discs, a new type of CD that can hold over 200 songs..."Another must-have" said the part of me that only that very morning had just rearanged my 500 CD collection!
