To buy or not to buy.... Well, if you do choose to buy a new "tube", Philips is a good solid choice to go with; But the confusing arrangement of numbers and letters: 52PFL7422D LCD TV?-- Now that is the question! Overall, it is a great television experience for a good price. The picture quality in HD is breathtaking. Analog? So so. This TV allows you multiple hookups and USB for digital camera hookup.... Really nice, watching my pics on a 52 inch screen! Blu-ray movies look awesome on the mammoth screen. Very crisp. The menu is a bit annoying, as it encompasses the entire screen. The remote doesn't match the presence of the unit. It's kind of cheesy and small. Remote could be better, but the picture makes up for these minor flaws. I love it. Good purchase!
