...Egg Drop Soup as a passover dish, but it is.
I have loved making this for several years now. It is a good way to get protein and the benefits of chicken broth also.
This is really good when you are not feeling well on your stomach or when you have a cold. I have no desire to eat this cold, but some people I know do. I enjoy mine hot. MMMMM!!!
If you have been to a Chinese Restaurant, then you have probably tasted this. It is light and filling.
... ...or more,( depending on how many people you will be serving).
*One to Two eggs(again depending on how much you need).
*Some milk, or cream(to thicken)
*Some salt and pepper to taste.
Directions
*You will want to boil the chicken broth in a pot. Then you will add the milk. Then you will add the whisked eggs, slowly. Make sure that it has come to a boil again, before adding eggs.

Advantages Amazing selection and variety, delicious puddings and cakes! Disadvantages People will always want you to cook. Sometimes need to shorten recipies to follow them.
...I got this book as a 21st Birthday present from my Grandparents and I absolutely love it.
The book is based on different feasts and occasions and lists lots of recipes for each occasion.
Some of the occasions covered are:
Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, Valentines Day, Meatless Feasts, Easter, Passover, Breakfast, Kitchen Feasts, Eid, Venetian Feast, Festival of Light, and Midnight Feast. (This is about half of the feasts).
The food does tend to be more 'special occasion' food rather than every day stuff, so they do generally require slightly more ingredients which are also sometimes a bit more costly. However, I have found that you can substitue some of the pricier stuff - i.e. 'best quality dark chocolate' for bog standard supermarket dark chocolate and you still end up with delicious results. I think you just...

Feast On This!
Review of Feast - Nigella Lawson by
DoubleFantasy11
taken from ciao.co.uk
Advantages Great recipes, descriptive, Chocolate Cake Hall of Fame Disadvantages Inappropriate comments relating to vegetarianism, wordy style not for everyone
...This is a cookbook for people who love food, as opposed to your bog-standard 'this is how to cook' books. It has a beautiful layout with the emphasis on words rather than pictures, which could be a disadvantage if you prefer to know what your creation should look like at every stage in the process - all pictures are of the finished product, with the exception of a few of Nigella laughing/smiling/pretending to have fun. It's called Feast because the focus is on the meaning of foods that we eat and share on special occasions, from traditional offerings like turkey at Christmas to gorgeous cakes. It is split into sections named after the occasion rather than the type of foods, so it's 'Easter' and 'Passover' and 'Eid' rather than 'Starters', 'Main Course' and Desserts'.
There are a few exceptions though - vegetarians, being neglected...
