PV-SS2710 Panasonic PanaBlack TV/ShowStopper hard disk recorder combination is equipped with a hard disk drive that's large enough to record up to 30 hours of your favorite shows (in extended record mode). Using MPEG-2 technology, the ShowStopper is capable of recording TV broadcasts with exceptionally high quality. And with three different record modes to select from, you can choose to record for maximum available disk space or for maximum available picture quality. One-Touch Digital Recording lets you record your favorite shows easily by highlighting the show you want to record on the Channel Guide and pressing the record button. If you connect a DSS receiver or a cable box to the TV/HDR Combo, you will need to attach a controller cable so the TV/HDR Combo can change the channels on these devices. The controller, either a serial cable or an IR blaster cable, acts as a remote for these devices.
