Panasonic constantly improves its popular PanaBlack televisions. The glass in Panasonic's signature PanaBlack picture tube is darker than conventional tubes to help combat the picture-degrading effects of ambient light. The company's high-end model, the CT-27D20, is equipped with two sets of A/V input jacks for connecting to outside sources and has Stereo/SAP reception with DBX noise reduction for a clear, crisp sound. A/V input jacks link your outside sources directly to audio and video circuits in the TV set, bypassing the tuner. This direct connection allows for optimum picture reproduction. 3-Line Digital Comb Filter, for color and edge detail, dramatically enhances picture resolution by eliminating blurred edges between colors and reducing dot crawl, producing a new level of picture sharpness and detail. Watch two programs at the same time, both in color with Picture-In-Picture. Component Video Input provides the highest possible picture quality from DVD players. Horizontal Edge Correction helps sharpen the edges of objects in the picture, for clean, crisp television images and reduce the unwanted effects of video noise. The CT-27D20 is equipped with a built-in stereo decoder that can receive both TV stereo and Separate Audio Program (SAP) broadcasts where available. The DBX noise reduction system helps give you clear, crisp sound with appropriate stereo separation. Artificial intelligence sound control automatically adjusts the volume level to prevent wide variations in sound between different TV stations and types of programming. Bass + Treble Controls allow you to adjust the bass (lower) and treble (higher) frequencies of the music to your own individual listening tastes. The lighted universal remote control works with most VCRs and DVD players to help simplify the operation of your home entertainment functions. The lighted keypad makes it easy to change operations in dimly lit or dark environments.
