RX-D16 is a CD radio cassette with a built-in center speaker for an added sound boost. This compact portable features a modern design and great sound at an affordable price. Acoustic separator cabinet places speakers in a separate compartment, keeping them away from the unit's operating mechanisms and each other. Result is the minimized cross-speaker interference and virtually no distortion from the other electronic components. For big bass performance Panasonic's Extra Bass System (XBS) ensures rich, low frequencies without affecting the high end. The XBS level is adjustable so the effect can be tailored to suit individual tastes. Adding to the bass sound are bass reflex ports. In addition, RX-D16 features a center speaker for brilliant center vocalization. For extra clear and accurate tuning, the digital synthesizer tuner provides auto tuning and memory for up to 24-stations (12-FM/12-AM) while allowing virtually drift-free AM/FM reception. For added convenience RX-D16 includes a wireless remote control, which operates all major CD functions as well as volume. In addition to a strong musical performance, it will enhance any room with aggressive, high-tech styling.
