Advantages: small, robust, economic autonomy, nonvolatile memory Disadvantages: perhaps the screen, which has been somewhat small, not expansion.
...After years using PDAs, or personal organizers, Palm OS (and with any EPOC32), I reached the difficult decision to make the jump to version 5 operating system, but with a dilemma: the new multimedia functions to those that have These advanced cacharrillos undoubtedly pushed by the system of Microsoft Windows Mobile PDA's and who have graduated, I do not like at all ... both wasted megahertz was not what I was looking for ...
My previous machine was a Clié SJ30, with very good screen and a better performance but that was the problem that exhausted the battery lost all data (undoubtedly defect caused by an internal malfunction), and this is something that in my life I could not allow professional, and they have been doing almost all the models I've had (Palm IIIx, m105 and Treo90-it, to a lesser extent).

The Handspring Treo 90 is a small, powerful Palm OS organizer with built-in keyboard, full-color screen and expansion slot. So small and lightweight it fits almost anywhere. So slim and sleek you'll want to take it everywhere. With 16MB of memory and an amazingly compact and light design, the rechargeable Treo handheld computer makes getting organized very easy. It includes Date Book Plus, Contacts (improved Address Book), To Do List, Memo Pad, and more. Plus, you can run thousands of Palm OS applications and use HotSync technology to backup, update, and transfer data between Treo and your desktop. Take a look at the Treo's vivid color screen and you'll see what a difference color makes. Now everything - from text and graphics to photos and games - is more readable. Entering data and navigating are now faster and more familiar with the Treo's built-in QWERTY keyboard. You can look up a number, view your calendar and more with just one hand. Or use two thumbs for super-fast typing. It even includes Instant Lookup, a new feature that lets you find any contact, usually within three taps of the keyboard. And, it's still small enough to fit in your pocket. With the SD expansion slot, you can add games, photos, and databases without compromising size or sacrificing memory. And, it's compatible with Secure Digital (SD) and MultiMedia Cards (MMC).
Advantages One machine to carry. Quick internet access. Easy to operate Disadvantages Lousy camera, ringtones
...away I used to cart my laptop with me, no need now. I have everything I need on my treo.
Photographs are rubbish..... they have let themselves down with this. My old mobile Sony Ericcson had a 3 mp camera and this has gone back to a meagre 1.3mg.
I had a lot of palm programmes on my pda, which I cannot now use on the treo. At first I did missed them e.g. agendus. However, after a couple of weeks I have found I really don't need the other programme.
It will be good when more programmes are available for download.
The Treo can be expensive, however with a lot of mobile phone providers you can get these free on contract. Alternatively people are selling them new on Ebay to make a profit on unwanted upgrades. I paid £130 for mine on ebay, the box was unopened. I sold my palm pda for £60 and my old mobile phone for £90, so actually made...
