The open architecture of these 486-based, DOS 6.22 terminals means easy application development. Falcon 665 is available with PowerNet Twin Client to support VT100, VT220, HP700/92, IBM 3270 and IBM 5250 terminal emulations. The Falcon 665 comes equipped with an EL super bright VGA display for superior readability in low light conditions. The Falcon 665 is a full-screen computer with several choices of compact tethered keyboards. The Falcon 665 can be configured with any of the leading 2.4GHz spread spectrum wireless LAN solutions including Cisco/Aironet, Lucent, Proxim, and Symbol. The Falcon 665 terminal is designed for use on any type of vehicle including forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center, or in outdoor environments like shipyards, lumberyards, etc. The extremely rugged design and IP66 rating of the terminals allows them to remain installed in the vehicle even during hose-down operations.
