I love my Whirlpool oven. I have owned it now for about 6 and a half years and I have never had a problem with it. It is the easiest oven ever to use. I purchased the oven new for under $1000. ...I will say that it does leave my house smokey and it will get quite toasty, so if I do self clean it, I make sure it is a chilly day out. The oven gets very hot to the touch and when you self clean you you will need to make sure to take the oven racks out. The oven bakes every thing evenly. Disadvantages: Worked for only ten months

Keypad failed after 10 months. replacement keypad failed after 20 months. Customer service has been no help. Seems to be enough of these bad Jenn Air failures. Look on the web and you will find most of these units fail after the warantee expires. Local service rep tells me that he would not leave home without it.
