This is a fantastic blender. I have had it for 2 years now, and have had no problems with it (unlike the previous blender I bought, which was a cheaper brand, and who's motor started to whine and strain after only a few months of use).
This blender has 12 different settings, such as whip, grind, and puree. It can handle just about anything, including things such as ice and frozen fruit for my smoothies which I love to make. It has a specific ice crush mode, and combined with the stainless steel ice-crushing blade, and a powerful motor, it makes perfect smoothies every time. I also don't have to worry about straining the motor as this is a blender that will likely last me a long time.
The blender is easy to use. It has markings on the side to make recipes. It also has a removable center on the lid so you can add more ingredients while the blender is going without food splashing everything. The blender is very easy to clean. I recommend washing it right after use, as it becomes more difficult once the food has dried. However, it is also dishwasher safe, which makes cleaning that much easier!
I initially wanted to buy the model with the larger jar; however, I have found the smaller jar to be very useful and sufficient for my needs. It also takes less space to store, which is another bonus.
The only drawback is the noise it produces. However, the blending does not usually take a very long time, so the noise is easily tolerated.
