A lady in my anatomy class had this type of recorder taping the teachers lecture for us to review for a test. And it played so good that I could not believe that it was so clear. It tape for a while with out the whole entire tape getting used up. It was really easy to use and small enough to put in your pocket. It was a reasonable price as well. She was telling me that she bought it last year and never have had any problems out of it. The sound quality was very good. It was very reliable on helping us study for a very big test. I have had one before but it did not work as well as this one at all.
