GREAT PRICE, GREAT PICTURES.
Review of Olympus CAMEDIA D 390 by SimpIyCrazy

Advantages: Easy to use, lots of features.
Disadvantages: Can be confusing if you don't know what you're doing.

I have owned this camera for about four years. I purchased it for around $100.00. The reason I purchased it was because I was new to digital cameras and didn't want to spend too much until I figured out how to use one. I have a small business that I have to take a lot of pictures for. I know with this camera there are all kinds of fancy features that allow you to take movies and put them on your TV to watch. I never went that far. I did by accident ...
...That was kind of cool to have. But it wasn't on purpose. I use this camera to take up close pictures of little items. The detail that comes up in these pictures is amazing. That is what my small business needs. I can tell you too, that I never took a photography class but the pictures I take come out great. I have taken indoor and outdoor pictures. There is a panoramic setting for scenic pictures. Again, I have never used that feature. But I have ... Read review

An excellent family camera.
Review of Olympus CAMEDIA D 390 by hermoine123 taken from ciao.co.uk

Advantages Excellent picure quality, ability to take small films.
Disadvantages Uses batterys quite quickly.

...My family bought this camera about three years ago. Ever since we have used it on every holiday and every special event that we wanted to remember. Although it uses batterys quite quickly I feel that most cameras do and the good points of the camera certainly out weigh the bad points. I have found that the ability to erase pictures that you don't like there and then very handy as you don't have the problem of getting home and getting them processed and find that the pictures are awful but you can't go back to the place where you took them. I find the movie function very useful, I always use it to give a fuller view of the place I am at. The programme that you use to download the pictures of the camera is very simple to use and allows you to design special cards etc. for your loved ones with ease. You can easily create folders to keep your... Read review

My Olympus
Review of Olympus CAMEDIA D 390 by frizz69 taken from ciao.co.uk

Advantages value for money, ease of use
Disadvantages battery life runs out very quickly

...This is a great camera for staters as it works as any other 35mm camera would without you having to use the digital screen! The pictures are easy to brwose through and the navigation around the cameras menu is quite simple. I have to say the favourite thing about this product is the software 'camedia' that comes with it-there is a great function for changing photos which is extremely simple to use (even my dad can use it!) such as reducing red eye and cropping the image. You can easliy organise your phots in to seperate 'albums' (that is folders to you and me) and name them all seperatly and then group them if you want to. The software is just fantastic! The other great thing is the ease of downloading the photos to the software-simply insert provided usb cable to computer and camera and camedia will automatically start downloading... Read review

Works well but eats batteries
Review of Olympus CAMEDIA D 390 by PIGHOG taken from ciao.co.uk

Advantages Quick to learn to use; cheap enough; video option
Disadvantages eats batteries

...So far so good, though my usage has been a little limited so far (photographing objects to sell stuff on Customer Notice Boards and embarrassing people at the office party!) On a more serious side, I did get the shop to print me off a 6x4 photo before I bought it and the results seemed fine to me. It’s easy to use and compact enough to fit in a handbag. The only drawback I have found is it eats batteries, so don’t forget to add the cost of a lithium battery to its price. Also, it comes with an annoying mass of paperwork to get you going but you can bin most of it because it’s for foreign markets. Ideal if you are looking for a fun camera that takes good snapshots and you are on a budget. ... Read review
