Another team from the big ten conference. They have played in and lost the last two national championship games against florida and Lousisana state university respectivley. They have won five national championships. They play in columbus ohio and the town is said to revolve around the university come time to play football. Individual, ohio state players have won seven heisman trophies. Winners include Les Horvath ,Vic Janowicz , Howard "Hopalong" Cassady, Archie Griffin, eddie george, and troy smith. Several former buckeyes have played and are playing professional football including four that have went on to the hall of fame. Their biggest rival is the university of michigan and it is usually one of the best games of the year that does not occur in the sec. No matter what the records are for either team, its still a great game. This next year seems like it could hold quite a bit of promise.
