The Nspire Pentagon system is designed for business and industrial use. The system provides flexibility as well as expansion capability for future upgrades allowing the user to maintain their original investment. This is achieved through the ASUS P2B-F motherboard, which utilizes Intel’s 440BX chipset, for support of higher Pentium III CPU speeds as well as optional ECC SDRAM. The case is constructed from extra thick metal for improved stability and is built to withstand vigorous business use. The heavy duty style guarantees a precise fit for both add on cards and storage devices such as Floppies, CD ROMS, ZIP’s, tape back ups, and ORB drives. Improper alignment for add on cards can result in them coming loose during freight or movement potentially causing added service calls which could have been avoided. The Nspire Pentagon system provides many other unique features, which include; easy access to the internal parts by removing one thumb screw on the back, extra security provided by a pad lock feature that prevents unauthorized access or removal of the system, as well as a lockable On/Off switch to prevent accidental reboot while stored under a desk.
