I had recently bought this Nokia E71 (less than a month ago), having sold my previous QWERTY Windows Mobile 5-based smartphone. Migrating from the familiar, if rather slow interface of Windows Mobile I was slightly apprehensive. Holding the E71 in my hands at the shop, though dispelled many of my doubts.
First of all, the phone feels solid. Almost like holding a miniature Toughbook in your hands. The stainless steel metal back and the metal (seems ... ...I can only wonder how Nokia managed to squeeze so much in such a slim, solid frame. 3G video calling, 3.6Mbps HSDPA, quad-band, A-GPS, WiFi, 3.2MP camera with flash, etc. It's slightly heavy due to that stainless steel / metal casing but I believe this means durability in the long term.
