Advantages All singing, all dancing, mobile phone WITH a keyboard
Disadvantages None that I've found

...I've always used Nokia's and my wife brought me this last christmas (2004) although she said that she had quite a time finding it. As phones go, its a decent phone. I've dropped it a few times and it still works. The camera works fine, not that I've used it much, and the best feature, for me, is that when it rings I can answer it and talk to someone. Wow, what a concept. The reason that I wanted a phone with a keyboard is when it comes to texting I'm all fingers and you need thumbs to text. Ha, open the phone out and I'm almost as fast at texting as my kids. And I'm one of these people that needs to type messages in full, I can't quite get my mind around the short codes ("ru" doesn't quite have the impact as "Are you") and I could quite happily strangle the person who thought up predictive texting. ...I bought this phone as my friend had the same model and i loved the qwerty keyboard which makes it really easy and fast to send e-mails and texts. The only problems i have with it is that the main keys which you would normal dial from are hard to get to e.g when you try and press 5 you normal hit the 6 or the 7 as well. And the camera is great but the problem i think is that the screen does do the camera any favos as it can't handle many different colours so it lowers the qualty of the photos which on other phones are great because of the quality of the screen. Overall i think that Nokia have got the right feature of a phone but have made a real let down with not putting a good enough screen for people who like taking pictures with there phone.... Advantages triband, bluetooth
Disadvantages average photo, no external volume control

...Got this as an upgrade from my "old" 7210. The only real thing that prompted me was the bluetooth facility so I could use a wire free headset in the car. I wanted to keep to Nokia as I am used to the menu and settings. Have also acquired a data cable so I can connect to the PC. There is a CD provided for this although I haven't had time to try it yet. The info assures me I can download pictures etc and upload my contact details and so on. The photo quality is only average but its only a standard size screen, there are bigger phones out there, but this fits neatly in my hand and I can text with one hand too. Its biggest novelty is the flip out email qwerty keyboard which to be honest I'll probably never use, but you never know. It connects to the web very easily and quickly.
