Hello all - I've had this phone for over a year now and have been fairly happy with it's use. I originally purchased while under Cingular but it's now turned over to AT&T so am still using with their service. It's fairly easy to use, lightweight and not too bad looking.
This phone has the ability to take pictures, short video (10 or so seconds each), Instant Message/Text Message, E-Mail, Browser the Internet, Bluetooth, play games, Speakerphone, listen to radio...and, oh yes, Talk! It's fairly easy to use, but definately takes some time to figure out how to get around it's menu options. You have the ability to save 6 shortcuts - which are the same as the directionaly buttons and the two buttons closest to the top part of the flip phone. Photos/Videos quality is not terrible but there are definately better digital quality phones out there if you want to spend the money...
Speaking of flip phone, obviously this phone flips open and closed. I've never had any issues with that either. It's pretty cool because you don't have to press a button to answer a call, just flip open the phone! And same with ending a call - just flip it closed. I'm sure you techies out there think I'm completely out of the loop but I thought this was a great concept when I first purchased the phone.
Sound quality on this phone is not terrible. I can hear people quite well so long as my network signal is good. Otherwise, either I experience breaks in the sound or the person I'm talking to informs me I'm in and out.
The battery life is outstanding. Talking I get about 2-4 days of life and standby I could go over 8-10 days of life out of the battery. The LCD of the phone is pretty good - although seems darker than some of the new phones out there now. I thought it was bright until I saw my friends Sony! Wow...so I guess it's not as bright as I originally thought.
As I stated earlier, I've had this phone for over a year now. I've dropped it more times than I can count, throw it into all kinds of bags, even forgot about it one day in my lunch bag and had it in the fridge for about 24 hours! Still works great - no problems. Has to say something for the phone...
