This was one of the best gifts we have given to our eldest daughter so far. We got her one in Metallic pink bundle pack with the Nintendo dogs game. SHE LOVES THE DS! She is six years old and at first she didn't quite get what the DS was all about till she started playing with it. Once she understood she has been playing it non stop. It's the coolest, most fun portable game unit! The games are a blast to play. If you are wondering how games compare to others a good site to check that out is on gamespot dot com. It tells you everything you need to know. The Ds lite is small and light. It has 2 big screens. The screens are very bright and full of nice color and vibrancy. The neatest thing is the touch screen which enhances game play! There are so many fun games to chose from for all ages. My daughter's favorite game on there is Mario Kart and second favorite would be Super Mario brothers. It's a great portable game system. It entertains the kids for a long time, great for traveling or even just occupying the kids. It's a great system!
