Quick review of Nikon D80
Review of Nikon D80 by
scrappymommy
This camera produces wonderful, high quality photos, whether you set this camera in auto and never change it, or play with the settings! You will need at minimum a 1G SD card to capture your photos (I would reccomend a 2G or bigger). You won't regret purchasing this camera!

Best Shot!
Review of Nikon D80 by
BiteDownHard
Advantages: Great quaility, Beautiful Colors
Disadvantages: Need to buy card seperatly to hold more pictures.
...very small and cute camera and I really recommend buying it! Nikon cameras are definitely the way to go if you want a good shot, better quality than any other, and beautiful colors, and for only about $750 it's better than any camera you have probably ever used before. ...

Advantages: big screen and sharper
Disadvantages: Not much convinces me use SD cards prefer a "CompactFlash"
do not think a professional photographer but I like cameras and photographs. He had everything; already gave me a very small camarita of baratitas and then go to one more face and a reflex and lately trasteo with a Sony digital but my dream is a trasto of these. Great camera for the outdoors photographer
Review of Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi by
albiorix
Advantages: lightweight, sturdy, easy to use, good value
Disadvantages: SLR lenses are very expensive
...This camera is great. It is lightweight, easy to use and has held up well in inclement weather conditions. I use the camera primarily for landscape and wildlife photography and I am happy with the picture quality, ability to enhance my zoom with crystal clarity and the speed of the camera. I have bought a few older canon telephoto lenses for it as they are cheaper than the SLR lenses and these work great and are a lot cheaper. I chose this over the Nikon D80 as it was a bit less expensive and had more features. The auto-clean feature is nice as well. Penn Camera in MD offers a free one day class on how to use this camera and that was very helpful as there are a ton of features on this thing. Overall I am very satisfied with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi!...

At last ... My first digital SLR camera!
Review of Olympus E-510 by
saort745
Advantages: small, light and image stabilizer
Disadvantages: In live mode - View the camera is slow
...The truth is that, when I was looking for information on this camera on the Internet, also looked written opinions here at Ciao, but I served little, because people are confined to describing the technical characteristics which can be found on the same page www . olympus.es eg. Comparisons with previous versions of cameras I also served as not known, these are my first digital SLR camera. So I think it would be nice if you count my personal inquiries, things which I would have liked to know before you buy.
I already had a reflex analog, a Nikon F60, and of course, the first thing I thought was that it would be nice if I could take the two goals that already had a 28-80 mm and 80-300 mm. I passed a store and informed me that there could be only the Nikon D80 as other digital models wore the engine focus on the objectives...

Great Professional Digital
Review of Nikon D300 by
bboothe83
Advantages: Amazingly Clear and Crisp Pictures, 12.3 MP
Disadvantages: Expensive
...I previously owned the D80, and could never get the sharpness that I was looking for in my pictures, they all looked soft? I bought almost every lens that Nikon makes, and could never get that razor sharpness that I desired, until I bought the Nikon D300. Wow, the Nikon D300 is INCREDIBLE! The problems I had with sharpness, were related to the SENSOR I believe, and it makes sense! Yes, the D80 takes "good" pictures, but the D300 takes INCREDIBLE pictures. The D80 has a CCD sensor, and the D300 has a CMOS sensor, is this the difference? I don't know, but my D300 takes razor sharp images! Wow. I sold my D80, and I've never been happier with the D300! If you are looking for a great digital camera, this one is a great find!...
