...LOVE IT!!! I have been attending this music festival since 1999 and would never miss it. This is a 4 day event in N. Wilkesboro, NC in the beautiful NC foothills on the Wilkes County Community College campus. Ticket prices range from $35 to $250 - depending on whether you get a single day pass or reserved seats. There are 13 stages with wonderful with an array of music (bluegrass, country, cajun and more - a few past performers have been Nickel Creek, Earle Scruggs, Donna the Buffalo, Peter Rowan, Allison Krauss, Dolly Parton, Ricky Scaggs, Levon Helm, Willie Nelson and the list goes on.), songwriters contest, workshops, great food (lots of choices for the vegetarian and meat lovers), vendors to purchase everything from beautiful handcrafted jewelry to shoes.
