ususally bottom feeders as of late in the afc, but have had success in the past and possibly could make a turnaround. They play in the american football conference and have won one superbowl championship as of yet. They are actually the first afc, formerly afl, team to defeat an nfc team, formerly just nfl, in a superbowl and were underdogs. Eventhought they are the new york giants, they play their home games in new jersey were the new york giants also play. The club was origionally know as the titans with no association with the current tennessee titans. Six former jets are in the pro football hall of fame including former alabama star joe namath. only three of the six achieved the majority of their success with the jets. The other three had most of their success with other teams.
Currently the jets are in a almost rebuilding mode.
