Advantages: cheap and cheerful? Disadvantages: low stand height, no built in speakers, not for gamers
...for such prolonged periods of time. Nonetheless, I would say this aspect of the monitor (prolonged use for gaming) should be looked into if you are thinking of buying this monitor and expect to use it a lot for gaming.

This looks every bit the flat monitor. It has a grey textured finish. This does look a bit dull after a bit.
The monitor is rectangular in screen shape. The screen is 17" in length. then there is an additional one and a half inches of panelling. The buttons controlling the screen are at the bottom of the screen and are centrally placed. It is about two inches in width from front to back.
The screen is perfectly flat and this provides a good view of the desktop.

...After my 15' Sony broke down i was loking in a hury for a quality TFT monitor. Unknown names make people suspicious, so i was loking for a brand. When I saw this particuler monitor it loked nice and the value was realy afordeble. The seller was using it eswell as their office monitor. The resolution and the collors were realy in good quality. I looked around in other shops as well but then decided why not give it a try. In the installation, you have already a flopy disk included, if youre system dosen't have the driver's you can use it easily. And actually it looks realy bigger than other 17" monitors. Since 1 year I'am using it with no problems and satisfaction....

...Last week, my father had the chance to buy a new monitor for a system he was building. While installing the OS / Driver software for the newly built computer, I got the chance to assemble and try out the NeovoF17 model flat screen TFT monitor.
Having only used CRT's in my lifetime, I was unsure of what to expect with this flat screened TFT model prior to opening its box. I'd heard much about them, notably the notoriously high prices and the danger of dead pixels.
Despite the ongoing critique I'd heard from various sources, I became confident of the monitors ability upon opening its box.
Inside was the screen itself, plus a small instruction booklet and the monitor's stand, plus the monitors video cable, and its power cable.
Compared to CRT monitor models, the NeovoF17 is very light for a monitor, It weighs in at around 5 Kilograms...
