After buying a Wii I downloaded some old school Nintendo games from back when I was a child onto it. Games such as Sonic the Hedgehog, The original Mario games, and a few others. When you download these games you have to watch and see what controllers they can be played with, many you can play with the Wii controller but some games require either a Game Cube controller or a Wii Classic Contoller.
The Wii Classic Controller is like the Regular Nintendo contorler plus the Super Nintendo Controller plus the Game Cube controller kind of put into one! It's amazing. I like the shaping of it, and how it convinietly plugs right into the Wii remote so you can sit across the room with out having a wire in the way. It is very nice! I would recomend you to buy one if you had a Wii and if you would be downloading older games. One other good thing is you can usually find these controllers for less than $25. Enjoy!
