The superbowl pits the best team in the national football conference against the best team in the american football conference to crown a league champion. This is typically the most watched television event of the year. This is particularly true in the United states. There is all types of pagentry involved in the superbowl comapred to other games during the year. There are very elaborate rock concerts during the half time show and usually specail coin tossers. Companies often consider this one of the best times to advertise on tv since so many people watch. Air time is the most expensive them and several companies use this as a stage for new ads or ad campaigns.
