The PlasmaSync 50PD1 is the first 50" plasma monitor designed to provide a cost-effective solution for information display and dynamic digital signage. With a large 50" screen size for high visibility, the PlasmaSync 50PD1 offers a unique set of features and capabilities that are perfect for the needs of public display environments. Four-screen matrix capability is included in PlasmaSync 50PD1 with built-in video wall circuitry that automatically divides an image across four screens and enlarges each section to fill the screen area. This makes it simple to assemble four 50PD1s into a multi-screen system that increases your image to a 100" viewing area with no external hardware or software. Plus, the 50PD1's thin 5" profile saves space compared to a conventional CRT or rear projection video wall. User-definable color temperatures can be set via the AccuColor control system accessible through the monitor's OSM system. This allows on-screen color to be adjusted to personal preferences, to match application requirements or to calibrate a number of displays to matching color settings. Direct access to the monitor's on-screen menu system and input selection are included so it can be operated without the remote control. In addition, a control lock prevents passers-by from tampering with the controls. The PlasmaSync 50PD1's bezel is a mere 1.5" wide. Besides contributing to the sleek look the monitor, the narrow frame minimizes visual interference in multiple-screen set-ups.
