The MobilePro 800 handheld PC is designed to go where traditional computing solutions, such as desktops and notebooks, cannot go because of size, portability or power limitations, and provides mobile users with immediate data access, ease of use and extreme portability (DeNeffe, product line director). At just 1.1-inches thin and 2.6-pounds, the MobilePro 800 is the perfect solution for professionals on the go. Just tuck it under your arm for easy access to your data including email, Internet, and corporate networks through the synching capabilities with your PC. The optional docking cradle (see Accessories link), provides one convenient connection to the serial cable and AC power while recharging the battery. With five user-defined buttons on the 9.4-inch color SVGA touchscreen, you can launch the applications you choose immediately. Get quick access to the Internet through the 56K modem. To add even more value to your MobilePro 800, you can add a number of peripherals through the USB port. For more expandability there is and integrated Type II PC Card slot, and a Type II CompactFlash slot where you can add the optional 16MB card for additional memory storage (see Accessories link.) A VGA port lets you connect to desktop monitors or projectors. You can even connect your MobilePro 800 to printers with the optional high-speed printer cable (see Accessories link). The MobilePro 800 provides superior portability and functionality. It is simple to bring wherever business takes you and offers many of the same features of a notebook PC at a half the price.
