I have never been to into sites such as myspace.com, but a very good friend actually told me that it helped save her wedding. She was able to track down a bunch of her friends down through it. Since lots of people are smart enought not to use their real names, she found old members of her sorority by looking on the college myspace group and subgroup for her sorority. SHe actually found two of her brides maids that she was really good friends with but had a hard time locating. Me and my wife posted wedding pics for some of our freinds to see who could not attend ours.
The maindownside to a site like this is that there are alot of weird people in the world. I am not 100% sure how I feel about children using the site, but parents definately need to be dilligent. Its the best of its kind on net
