Flip phone
Review of Motorola V180 by 1stone

Advantages: buttons for texting, style, outside scree
Disadvantages: basic, cheap

This cheap flip phone that was given to me for free with a contract. It has had an excellent battery life, and resisted so far, the all the daily drops and falls. Three features I enjoyed the most: 1. the outside screen, which doesn't just display the time but also shows messages 2. The buttons were perfect for texting and haven't stopped working yet. 3. The clam shell style, which provides a smaller result for a phone. Now for the flip side of this ... Read review

...Hello, and welcome to my review on the Motorola V180. This sexy phone has not got many downfalls about it at all. Two things I can think of for this phone is that sometimes when you are scrolling through the menu, it wont do anything then it will skip about to options, but this doesnt happen every time you use the phone. Also, if you leave the screen on for a long long amount of time, then the screen will actually develop a burn mark. Ok, so now for the good parts. This phone comes with a built in FM Radio, which always has a great quality sound and signal. Motomixer is another great feature of the Motorola phones, it lets you mix and make your own ringtones and music which is a great little extra. For the messaging side, the phone has an IM ( Instant Messaging ) service, which makes chatting quick and easy. It also uses ( MMS... Read review

V180
Review of Motorola V180 by Galadriel1010 taken from ciao.co.uk

Advantages Small, cute and funtional
Disadvantages Quite complicated and easy to lose

...I've had my V180 for a couple of years now, and my friends are suggesting that I ought to upgrade it. Personally, I don't really see the point. It does everything I want it to do, it makes phone calls, has a fun game and it sends text messages. I don't use it to get on the internet, or as an MP3 player, or anything like that. It's a phone, but it has extra features that I could use if I so wished. Its main funtion, for making phone calls, is well performed. I live in a fairly hilly area, and we go on holiday to places where they've never even heard of mobile phones, and yet it stil manages to find a signal somewhere. It even had two bars of signal 100 yards into a tunnel when I was on the train, which is pretty good going. The sound quality's pretty good as well, although this suffers when you use the speakerphone. Texting... Read review
