Advantages Small lightweight and full of features Disadvantages Seems fragile and has small buttons
...Having just had my contract run out on my all singing all dancing Motorola E1000 i was reluctant to replace it. I was offered the LG u880 and having looked at it on the net i decided to take it. It was not to dissapoint.
It has all the gubbins needed for a modern phone Bluetooth, impressive camera (1.3mp) and an mp3 player built in with easy access buttons on the front to play music without opening the phone. A large memory (80mb) ensures there is plenty of space for photos and videos ,with a slot for additional memory should you want to put a large amount of music on it.
It's not without it's faults however. Although it feels sturdy to hold, you would want to sit on it accidentally. The buttons are small and very close together, meaning those of us with larger fingers may take longer writing text messages due to deleting all the mis...

LG U880
Review of LG U880 by

Advantages Small and lightweight, Stylish, Great Design Disadvantages Camera not great
...Firstly, I am on a contract, so I didnt pay for this phone as it was upgraded automatically. Secondly, I used to have a Motorola A1000 and I was sceptical when they upgraded me to the U880 as I didnt think anything could rival my old phone.
Now I have had the phone nearly a year and I am very happy with it.
The U880 has a great range of functions which I will detail below:
The U880 has a "profiles" setting which I find very useful. It easily enables you to switch between a number of predefined settings which you can set up for different environments, with different ring tones and message tones etc. These are:
Normal;
Silent;
Vibrate Only;
Outdoor;
Headset;
Customised 1;
Customised 2.
The great thing is that I set the "Normal" setting to one that I can use in the office which has a low volume tone and message tone. And I use...

Advantages Polyphonic, colour screen, good battery, wallpapers,games etc... Disadvantages Those orange bits do like kinda weird...
...The last phone I had was almost prehistoric in comparison with this. It was a motorola v880 with no colour no polyphonic tones and not even any games! So when I decided to get with the times a bit more and, even though I had a fairly small budget, I found a brilliant phone.
How It Looks
When I bought this phone it had silver front and back covers and freaky orange bits along the side which, unfortunately, are non changeable although they do look quite good when they light up. I have heard that people have also got blue covers when they first bought it which looks equally good. The shape of this phone is typical of this particular range of nokia phones however it has a weird black rubbery blob on the back which I havent found the use for yet! The keys are a starnge pointy shape (see pic) but they are a good size for people with big...
