I love this mixer when I use for making bread. It works very well. It has a big bowl, more power, and especially I like this one has a timer so you can prevent over-mixing plus you can walk away after set the time. I has used KitchenAid once, it wasn't quite right for kneading. It was moving and motor got pretty hot. Disadvantages: can't handle heavy batters

This mixer is a descent mixer for the low price. It gets a little bogged down with heavy batters, but generally it muscles through most jobs. The scraper attachment never gets used because it really isn't as useful as it looks. It is easier to get out a spatula and scrape the side of the bowl as you go.
