Advantages: Large capacity, easy to use, easy to clean. Disadvantages: Not easily stored on countertop.
This is definitely my next investment! While visiting my sister in another state earlier this year, I got used to her kitchen gadgets. Having seen this mixer in the store many times, here my sister owns one! I stayed for three weeks. She and I took turns cooking. We had lots of good things to eat. But what I was impressed with was the pasta she made, from scratch! I love Italian food. This was a dream come true. So many attachments for this mixer. ...

Advantages: Easy to use and clean. Disadvantages: Can be messy.
Black & Decker is a reliable brand. We got this mixer from my daughter's grandma. We have owned it for about two years. Here's what it has: Five speeds, eject button, Power Boost, standard beaters, whisk beaters, spatula attachment.
Well, the only thing I have ever used it for, in two years, has been to make mashed potatoes, which were more like whipped potatoes. It does a great job for that. I used the standard beaters for this. I also used the ... ...doesn't snap into the motor part. It snaps on to the stems of the beaters. I never use that. It just seems awkward to me. The speed I use for potatoes is #2. And actually, I could keep it on #1 and it would be sufficient. It seems like the lower speeds run VERY fast. If I could think of an improvement, it would be a splash guard bowl to use with it. The Power Boost feature just gives you a burst of power. I've tried it, but not really used it for ...

Advantages: powerful and pretty, easy to use Disadvantages: none
This blender is outstanding -- powerful and pretty. It is easy to use, with two speeds. Its looks good with its designer lines. I got the red blender, and it is an accent piece in my kitchen. It is also well thought out in that its pitcher has a wide base, making it useful to serve from. It is a little loud but it is worth the noise to have 500 watts of power. I also like the fact the base is heavy cast metal, the pitcher is thick, solid glass with ...

Advantages: easy to use, last a long time Disadvantages: none
I was bought one of these over ten years ago when I first got married and it worked really good. I had no problems out of it what so ever. It mixed up my cake mix really fast and it was really creamy. It had diffent mixing levels that you cound use. The speeds randed from 3 to 5 different speeds. I still have the mixer but the beaters got to where they started rusting. But the mixer done an excellent good and I did use it a great deal. The look was ...

Advantages: easy to operate, heavy duty machine and attachments Disadvantages: inconvienient for small jobs
I have this mixer, and it Soooooo Reminds me of my grandmothers old old hamilton beach mixer she use to have...anyway, This is a wonderful machine especially if you do lots of baking and mixing...This mixer is totally heavy duty and all of the attachments are too..It mixes things like cake mixes in half the time at half the speed of a hand mixer, and for me, it is much easier on my hands because i dont have to stand there and hold on to it like you ... ...a beater attachment, dough attachment and mix attachment. I Use the beater and mix the most. One thing I will say about it that i dont like, if you are trying to mash potato's in the bowl, it doesnt do the greatest job, you have to continually shut it off because the beater will not reach all the lumps, but other than that I have not had any problems with the mixer and would defintely have another one should something happen to this one! ...
