adrian peterson rocks
Review of Minnesota Vikings by jtbull46

Advantages: adrian peterson, power running game
Disadvantages: need to find a quarterback.

Pretty good football team who play their games inside since its extremly cold in their part of the country. They do have a very good history playing and unfortunatley losing three superbowls in early sixties. THey were people and white uniforms with yellow trim and their famous defensive line from their superbowl days were reffered to as the purple people eaters. They have not had any superbowl appearances since then but did come very close in the ...
...the atlanta falcons. Currently the vikings appear to have lots of promis. In 2007 they drafted adrian peterson of the university of oklahoma, who won the rookie of the year and pro bowl mvp awards this past year. They also drafted john david botty of usc who could supplant current starter tavaris jackson. The recieving corps are also has a pretty good defense. ... Read review

THE VIKINGS GO 2 AND 0 - CAN THEY KEEP IT UP?
Review of American Football by flashpointz taken from ciao.co.uk

Advantages great wide receivers, veteran defence, good coach
Disadvantages a lot of close season personnel changes, untried QB

...I've followed the NFL since I was a lad, always favouring the MINNESOTA VIKINGS. They've had their ups and they've had their downs. It really looked like they were the 'real deal, two seasons ago when under the leadership of QB Randall Cunningham, they set league records for offence and but for a missed field goal by Gary Anderson in the NFC Championship game, they would surely have gone on and clinched their first Superbowl crown. Last season was hugely disappointing, stumbling into the playoffs, they were blown away by the eventual Superbowl champs St Louis. During the close season their have been so many changes in the playing roster. Now, second season QB Daunte Culpepper is at the controls. He can run and he can pass, but can he link up often enough with the likes of Randy Moss, Chris Carter, Robert Smith etc to outscore... Read review

Happy Lil Miss Pinks' Challenge
Review of Everything that starts with H ... by keyboard_kowboy taken from ciao.co.uk

Advantages Its a challenge
Disadvantages None

...This challenge is set by lil miss pink. Where were you born? According to my parents I was born in a hospital. Though seeing the knack I have with computers maybe I was born in a research lab somewhere and escaped only to be found in good old north London. Where would you have liked to have been born? The Usa because seeing my size I could have had really 2 careers in the USA either as a pro football player or a pro wrestler. Seeing as I support the Minnesota Vikings winning the superbowl would probably not b top of the agenda , but would have loved to work with people like the Undertaker and Mick Foley for the wrestling part. If you could be anyone famous, who would it be and why? Probably Bill Gates. Not just for all that cash he has, but so I can actually run Microsoft efficently and release software without so... The Passion of Cleese!
Review of Monty Python and The Holy Grail 2 Disc DVD by talktothehand taken from ciao.co.uk

Advantages Very very funny
Disadvantages None

...and a Cambridge one, with the American in the middle somewhere. The absurdity of religion was a particular target for the guys who were bought up on the bizarre rituals of Public School and going to church as kids. Terry Jones tells a wonderful story of how Americans embraced their unique sense of humour during a big Gridiron match between the Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings. As the team gathered in the huddle to discus and execute the play, the quarter back looked at his receiver and said”Run awayyyyyyy”!. A bizarre scene at the ‘Castle Anthrax’! , encapsulating the more disturbing gap between American and British humour when it comes to irony as Terry Jones and Michael Palin are taping the ‘locations’ segment of this DVD. The surreal sight of the two turning up at an obscure Scottish castle gift... Read review

Monsters of the Midwest
Review of Chicago Bears by  etambe01

Advantages: Long ,rich tradition
Disadvantages: waiting for another magical year

...The Chicago Bears are a professional football team of the National Football league. They play in the NFC West Division alongside the Green Bay Packers, the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions.Their home field is in Soldier field. This is a very storied franchise and the current discussion here is going to be about their super bowl team of the 1985/86 season. That is the standard of measurement of great football teams, winning the big one,the nfl championship. When the season started in 1985 the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco Forty Niners were the favorites to come out of the NFC.From the AFC the favorites were the Miami Dolphins and the Los Angeles Raiders. The season started with the Bears winning their first four games before a test game with the Cinncinati Bengals. The Bears had as their quarterback a certain Jim McMan who... Read review

New England Patriots No.3
Review of New England Patriots by  merfw

Advantages: 18-1 in 2008 season
Disadvantages: Evil people

...New England Patriots best team ever? Forget about it, I am sorry all you patriot fanatics, but the New England Patriots are officially the worst ever 18-1 team! (Which means they were the first team to ever acquire that record) But seriously, This is the team that almost lost to the Ravens, Who were beaten by the Miami Dolphins! Many people have asked where the New England Patriots Place in history is..I say its 3rd best team ever, Before it were No.1 (The 1971 Miami Dolphins who went 17-0), And No.2 (The 1998 Minnesota Vikings Who went 15-1) And No.3 (The 2008 New England Patriots Who LOST the super bowl and went 18-1). I have personal reasons also for hating the patriots..When I was about 12 or so, Randy Moss who was on the Vikings Scared me so much, He was my Football hero, So I went up to him, while they were 14-0, and Guess what he... The Dallas Cowboys
Review of Dallas Cowboys by  etambe01

Advantages: Great franchise, great tradition, progressive organisation
Disadvantages: Can be Cocky

...back Herschel Walker to the Minnesota Vikings for seven future draft picks. The picks were used to get needed depth in key positions and the foundation for success was laid. Super bowl victories came in 1992, 1993 and in 1995. With three super bowls victories in the 1990s the Dallas Cowboys were back and clearly the team of the 90s. After their second super bowl victory in 1993 head coach Jimmy Johnson and Jerry Jones parted ways and Barry Switzer was the controversial replacement. He had forced out of the University of Oklahoma after much success there which was followed by allegations of recruiting and other violations under his stay at OU. Switzer came though and won a Super bowl in 1995 mainly with the players that Jimmy Johnson and Jerry Jones had acquired. The 1995 super-bowl victory has been the last for the Cowboys. They have...
