Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000

Advantages: Basic webcam
Disadvantages: Not as good as the VX6000

At first I bought this camera, the VX3000 and then brought it back and decided to go with the VX6000 instead. If your torn between the two i would definitly go with the VX6000. The picture is clearer and has a couple more options like 3x zoom, pan and tilt options. Also the VX3000s CMOS image sensor captures video up to 30 frames per second (640 x 480 resolution); still-image resolution up to 1.3MP (1280 x 960 resolution) the VX6000s CMOS image sensor ...

I don't really like this webcam. I like the microphone feature. I don't like that when you are sharing this webcam with another person, it is sooooo slow!!!! When you move your hand, one the screen, it shows it like 5 seconds later. I would be OK if it was like a half a second later. I like the button on the top. When I push it, Windows Live Call comes right up. I like the feature that I can adjust the view on the outside of the camera eye. Without ...
...easy to install, but, if you want to install the Windows Live Call, you might as well install it, and just leave the computer. It takes forever to finish installing it!!
