Advantages: handy, good, durable Disadvantages: mouse jumps at times
...we wanted to buy the Microsoft mouse because of the good reputation Microsoft has got.
Our venture didn't go bad. We have got this mouse which i am comfortable with. It has a good shape to support the palm and the fingers. Also i like the pure black color of it. the mouse does not require cleaning from dirt as it is a optical mouse. So i am happy using this mouse and hope you too will be happy using it. ...

...using USB. This Microsoft Mouse comes in White and Black both colors where Black is my favorite as even if it gets dirty- very difficult to find out!! I like its surface texture which is little rough which you can feel good when you hold it in your hand. But regularly using it, that roughness will be decreases and it will become very smooth. This is the only thing I don't like.
One of the most important thing having this mouse is- ... ...and 1 scroll wheels.
Sometime I have observed that mouse pointer start moving on its own, I don't know the reason behind it whether it is really a mouse problem or a problem with driver. But that is not a concern for me.. It is a very least thing for me.
Overall the product is GOOD, having Good Design, Light Weight and you will Not face any kind of Problem with it.
I recommend to BUY this product called Microsoft Basic ...

Advantages: easy to handle, not bulky Disadvantages: too sensitive, cursor moves around on its own
If this mouse costs you more then 10 dollars, skip it. I purchased one at Staples 5 weeks ago. It works, if you don't mind hunting around your screen trying to find your cursor because it travels around on its own! I've tried using this on a variation of different surfaces. Nothing seems to keep the cursor from moving on its own. Even when the mouse is sitting on your desk idle, you can watch as your pointer disappears off the screen. I can't tell ... ...didn't intend on clicking because my pointer decided to take a trip around my screen. It's frustrating to say the least, especially if you enjoy playing online games. For the limited surfer, this mouse will do it's job. For those of us that spend a lot of time on the net surfing and playing games...I wouldn't recommend this product. ...

Advantages: stylish, durable and comfortable Disadvantages: none
Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse Black Mouse This is one of the best mouse I have seen. I know that there was no competition for Logitech mouse until year 2006. But after a use of 6 months it starts giving problems. Then I came across Microsoft Optical mouse which is amazing. It has a excellent design and provides very much comfort to your hand. I am dealing in computer hardware and since I purchased this mouse, I have started this recommending ... ...with no problem at all. It is a USB mouse but comes with an USB to PS2 converter so that you can connect it to PS2 port also. Which is good for old computers who don't have USB port. I will rate it 10 out of 10. And truly suggest everyone to buy this for your PC and Laptops. It is a great value for money.
A great and durable product, must buy ...

Advantages Easy to use, optical system is sensitive Disadvantages Very simple, basic mouse
...this mouse is exactly the same shape and size as any traditional microsoftmouse and fits into the hand very easily. The scroll-wheel is constructed with firm rubber which is soft to touch and ribbed to make quick scanning of web-pages and word documents an absolute doddle.
The mouse is compatible with USB and USB2 and is as responsive to movement as anyother mouse. Sensitivity and scroll speed can be calibrated via the computer but only at their most basic levels.
The 'feet' of the mouse glide easily across almost any surface and are actually superior to many other opticalmouses I have experienced the use of. When the mouse is lifted a certain distance from its operating surface, it automatically senses this and diverts the funky red beam to avoid dazzling anyone.
The mouse looks great in its full black attire but seeing...

Advantages Very easy to use Disadvantages Very Basic
...your hands very well. The look of the mouse is pretty borings, its just plane white with a black scroll button. There are just the two basic buttons, and a scroll wheel/button. They are not programmable for any extra features such as web navigation because this is just the most basic of optical mice.
Operating system required. Microsoft Windows 98/ME, Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional , Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 SP6 or later. Basically you need windows 98 or higher.
Overall
If you are after an opticalmouse without any extra features then this is for you, or if you’re after a basicopticalmouse than I would recommend this ahead of the others because it is so cheap. It costs just £12.92 from dabs.com....

Advantages User friendly, works on all surfaces Disadvantages Only see them sell in blue or black.. why not red or green?
...I do believe there are many mouse’s out there that just don’t cut it. They move about fine, but poor for gaming or detailed work like photo editing where sensitivity of the mouse is important.
I bought a version of this mouse a while back, but was in blue... Cost me £39’99 and now I’ve seen them go for less that £15. But, I would still pay £39’99 again as it is a top class mouse.
I’ve tried wireless mouse’s and personally, they don’t match up to weird. There is latency on all wireless & more sore within games. I noticed on this mouse though, the length of wire was longer than the usually by 4 or 5 inches. This helps when your case is ether at the side of your desk on the floor, or underneath your desk as mine is.
I noticed some laser/opticalmouse’s have problems with shiny services, like laminated desks, polished desks...
