...One of the best bands ever.. along with one of the greatest guitarists ever... VAN HALEN! van halen where a brilliant band of the 80s, that composed brilliant songs. The guitarist, eddie van halen, wrote the solo, and player it, to michael jacksons BEAT IT, which was such a famous and great song. That solo made it into the top ten guitar solos of all time, which just highlights the quality of their music I really enjoyed listening to them, I dont much anymore because I listened to them too much, but I still occassionally listen to the odd song, and deeply respect them I seriously reccomend buying their albums if you dont already have them, they are gold dust, CDs of pure quality and real music... ...Phil Collins, is the lead singer from the band "genesis" who were the only band ever to give birth to such amazing solo careers later, to all three members of it. Phil Collins was the lead singer, and drummer at the same time of genesis. He has a very powerful voice, and will definately be remembered for his talent amongst many other great artists, including Michael Jackson and Freddy Mercury. my favorite song by him is called "in the air tonight" which is a very very famous song which was and still is played on many radio stations all the time. It was also in the recent cadbury advertisment which featured a gorilla drumming along to it, which was funnily a very famous advert and well known... Read review
