Wii is my first video game system so I haven't had any prior experience playing Mariokart. I'm having a ton of fun learning how to play it though! There's a wide variety of courses and modes ... you can play by yourself, against the computer, or even connect to other users online throughout your region or the entire world and compete against them! I'm still getting the hang of using the wheel and it's a little awkward trying to use the remote while it's in the wheel but I suppose I'll get used to it. There is also a large selection of vehicles to operate during the game, from bikes to standard carts to baby buggies, as well as a huge assortment of characters to choose from. I can't imagine anyone getting bored with this game!
