Similar design concept as the 745B, the 745MF3 features locking collars in magnesium and carbon fiber legs to provide better torsional rigidity and less weight during transportation. The 745MF3 is ideal for travel, quickly folding up to a compact 24.8in. For applications that demand full extension, the 745MF3 has a maximum working height just over 5ft, and a minimum height just over 8" for low angle shots. An integrated 50mm leveling ball also allows for quick set up with ±15° of leveling capability. The 745MF3 is geared towards the "on-the-go" videographer looking for a simple, straightforward, and affordable tripod without sacrificing the key virtue of stability.
