If you are getting a GPS for what a GPS should do, this device is excellent. Accuate, easy to use and easy read read screen. It uses SiRFstarIII technology making it fast to aquire a position. I have tried a TomTom One 3rd edition. (not very accurate in NA) and a NUVI 250 (smaller screen) and find that the Maestro 4210 (Walmart $199) is superior in ease and accurate catagory.
