I tried many of the other products on the market. IPOD, RCA, Creative, Sansa....... This player exceeded my expectations. The software went in smoothly in both Windows XP SP2 and Windows Vista. The installation directions are easy enough that my 5 year old installed it on his XP SP2 machine. The sound quality is above average. The Video is excellent and I am very picky when it comes to video. The menu system is easily navigated. Windows media player ...
...did a fair job converting my video files but I prefer to use other software to convert my own video files. Media player is more than adequate. The few things I wish were stronger are the video control and Screen size. Battery life and recharge time is excellent. I run my unit for two hours before I fall asleep and it is still playing when I wak up even when I am watching videos. Putting in fast foward capability and a larger screen would make it ... I bought myself one of these to listen to while I go walking every day and it is so cool. I can download lots of music and it is really clear. I even take it to the college and listen to as I do my work inside the library. It has different feature that you are able to use and all.
