I tried many of the other products on the market. IPOD, RCA, Creative, Sansa....... This player exceeded my expectations. The software went in smoothly in both Windows XP SP2 and Windows Vista. The installation directions are easy enough that my 5 year old installed it on his XP SP2 machine. The sound quality is above average. The few things I wish were stronger are the video control and Screen size. Battery life and recharge time is excellent. This is one of the most popular line of product from Zen company, it was a little pricy when it was first introduce to the market, but after two years the price has finally lower down.
