The Creative ZEN is s good as the iPod Nano with Video, only more affordable. It doesn't have Apple's trademark scrollwheel control panel, but the navigation pane the ZEN has on the right is pretty easy to grasp. I'm no techie, yet I was able to move back and forth among Video, Music, FM, Settings, etc. with no time at all. We have 2 of these items. One for each of our boys. The software is easy to load and operate and easy to add new songs. The volume is easy to control. You can get to a new song or new play list very quickly. You are also able to set up your own play list, name it what you want and put your own songs in there so more then one person can enjoy the MP3 player and have just his or her songs to listen to.
