Very Solid MP3 player - I received the 8GB Nano for Christmas after having some experience with other players I was ready to see what all the Ipod hype was about.
First of all, the form factor is pleasantly small and slim, it feels very nice in the hand. The screen is small but bright. The earbuds that come with the unit are nothing to scream about, I would suggest upgrading the earbuds.
Setup and use is fairly straight forward, though Itunes can ... ...been tuned to your liking all you need to do is connect the Ipod to your computer via the supplied USB cable and Itunes does the rest. Be sure to subscribe to a podcast or 2, this keeps content fresh on your player.
The sound is average (the earbuds are the main culprit here). The video is clear though the screen is a bit small for long-term use.
Battery life has not been a problem and seems sufficient for normal use.
