Advantages: price, large screen, easy to use Disadvantages: none
The Creative ZEN is s good as the iPod Nano with Video, only more affordable. It doesn't have Apple's trademark scrollwheel control panel, but the navigation pane the ZEN has on the right is pretty easy to grasp. I'm no techie, yet I was able to move back and forth among Video, Music, FM, Settings, etc. with no time at all. I uploaded almost a hundred songs on it so far and several video shorts, and even a movie. All my fav vacation pics have been ... ...book for whenever anyone wants to see the latest baby pics or whatnot. The screen is large, and very high-resolution, so you won't feel like you're watching a watered-down version of any shows or movies. Charging the player fully takes about 4 hours, but then you're good to go, and won't need to rejuice for another 20 hours. ...

Advantages: Size Disadvantages: No charger, not enough memory, pixelated view of pictures and video clips.
I bought the Creative Zen V Plus a little while back thinking that I had had a bargain for what seemed to be the perfect MP3 player for less money.
Nevertheless, I now regret my choice; after all it is true that you get the quality you paid for.
The design is not bad but it isn't anything extraordinary or exceptional either, with the new wave of cool-looking gadgets, the Zen V Plus is just an ordinary MP3 player.
Unfortunately, it does not come ... ...separate one on Amazon for about 30 dollars. Now this is an important point, because the player has to be charged quite frequently unlike other players, and the only way to recharge it without a charger is using the USB cable on the computer, which you cannot do unless the software is installed. Advantages: Best for Video, pictures, etc. Easy Wi-Fi access. Disadvantages: Not all the functionality of an iPhone, but as expected.
I upgraded to the iPod Touch in March of 2008, and have been very happy with the purchase. I've had many different iPods over the past few years, and this is the first that has really sold me on the concept of watching video on such a small device.
The screen is very impressive, for such a small space. It is very clear and makes viewing a lot easier then past iPods.
The other nice feature is the Wi-Fi, which I use quite often. This is not to be ... ...internet. If you want that feature, you are going to pay a lot more, including monthly charges.
This device, the Touch, is best used for music, video and general internet access.
If you are choosing between the 8 and the 16 Gig - go for the 16. It is worth a bit more to have the extra space. Videos / movies take up a lot of space.
Overall, a great new device, and one that I would recommend to a friend that has been waiting for a bigger screen ...
