Advantages: Many features, WiFi feature, all touchscreen (I don't know if this is an advantage) Disadvantages: Pay for updates, battery life, useless light sensor, typing a bit hard
The 4th version of iPod: Shuffle, Nano, Classic, then the Touch. The Touch is like the other iPods, except the fact that the screen is touchscreen. You could watch videos, listen music, browse your contact and photos, browse the web, check your mail, go on YouTube, and so much more. The design is sleek and beautiful, and of course it fits in your pocket. There is an update coming up, and in the update, you can now download 3rd party applications ... ...that YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE UPDATES unlike the iPhone!!!! But other then that, it's good. It has a ultra-small speaker which you can barely hear for your timers and alarms. You can't play music through it though. It also has Safari, and to me it is very easy to use and browse through. The iPod Touch connects to the internet through WiFi only. It has a small light sensor on the top, which is basically useless and doesn't do it's work. Typing is O.K., ...

Advantages: Ease of Use, Excellent Design Disadvantages: Metal Casing
...the headphones breaking , but Apple quickly sent me a replacement and the broken ones were sent back, free of charge. The problem was that the left ear bud became very distorted (especially when a lot of bass was present) and a lot of static could be heard alongside the music.
Did I mention that the iPod Touch has been beautifully designed by Apple's superb design team, making the iPod not only functionally pleasing but very aesthetically pleasing ... ...and we can only hope Apple find a new way to encase the rear of the iPod. For those unaware of the aforementioned problem, the rear of newer iPods are encased in metal, which gets scratched incredibly easy, making the rear of the device very unattractive.
If your having trouble choosing between this product, and the other iPod models, I recommend asking yourself whether or not 16GB or 32GB is enough for you now, or will be enough in the future? ...

Advantages: Bright, Clear Screen, Huge Storage Capacity, and thin design Disadvantages: Still the Same Old Small Screen, having to use iTunes, and Durability
Well, it looks as if Apple has finally done it. They have made a believer out of me!!! The new 160 GB iPod classic has struck a cord with me. With the ability to hold a staggering 40,000....yes, you read that correctly FORTY THOUSAND!!, songs and 200 hours of video, the new Classic gives you the ability to put your entire library of movies and entire collection of music all on one place. No more deciding what to keep and what to delete. With its ...

Advantages: Compact, Lots of memory, easy to use Disadvantages: Mirror finish scratches easily, standard earbuds aren't good
I upgraded to the 80 GB Classic iPod from the original 4 GB iPod mini. After transferring my music into the new iPod, there's plenty of room left as expected. Even after buying and adding more music, I'm not even close to filling it up. I really like the color video screen. It shows you a picture of the album cover as well as song information. Usually I use my iPod while reading, but if I'm not, they have pre-installed games that I can play while ... ...recommend swapping out the earbuds to something of your liking (I like Apple's *other* in-ear earbuds). Also, be sure to buy a case for it, as all the surfaces can scratch. If you work at a desk like I do, I would also recommend that you get a speaker dock as well.
After living with an iPod, I couldn't live without one. ...

Advantages: 32gb = MASSIVE STORAGE, great screen, great internet browser. Disadvantages: back scratches.
I borrowe this from a friend for a few weeks, and soon ended up buying it! Firstly tihs is an iphone jsut a bit smaller and without the phone, and a few other minor applications. So, its great value for money when you think about it!
The touch screen is easy to navigate and msot importantly FUN. You can swoop your finger across the screen to change song, or 'pinch' the screen to zoom into a photo. I also love the fact when you turn the touch on ... ...is awesome, and the youtube player plays videos very well. Also I love the way you can buy and download songs straight off the ipod store without having to connect ot a pc! Genius!
The only downside is the metallic back always scratches, no matter how hard you try to not scratch it! ...
