Alright, let me get straight to the point. Lil Wayne can NOT make music. That's as brutally honest as I can be. So Mr. Wayne here produces a new album - "Tha Carter III", which is by far, the longest, most annoying record I've heard. No wait, maybe his next album will top this.

Before getting to some of the songs, here are some words of wisdom to those who're planning on getting your hands on the CD. >Its a wastage of 8-10 bucks that you could have spent ... ...you're not a fan of Lil Wayne already, this review will not change your opinion. Rest assured, I continue...

The rhyme goes something like this
"I might crazy go on these n*ggas I don't give a motha****
Run up in a n*gga house and shoot his grandmother up"
Yes sir, that's the spirit! And we blame video games for causing violent behavior among kids. Now I know that this isn't the first time I witnessed derogatory language, but what's ...

Advantages: Strong Lyrics, Great Production, Great Cameos Disadvantages: None
...to write this review on Lil Wayne's latest album "Tha Carter III" I had to drive from Seattle, Wa to Victorville, Ca a little over a week ago. For that long car ride, I listened to a lot of music. I stopped and picked up this CD because I am a fan of Lil Wayne and had heard great things about it. I know that it was the most downloaded album ever and sold over a million copies in the first week. I purchased it from target (they always have great CD ... ...the beat and the metaphors. Lil Wayne is extremely creative, and he displays that creativity in coming up with lines such as "Holly Grove I throw it up like I'm trying to lose my gut" (Holly Grove is the housing project he grew up in) and "you can't get on my level, you gonna need a space shuttle or a ladder thats forever." I have always admired such creativity.
Track 2- Mr. Carter (Ft Jay-Z)
This is by far my favorite track on the album. It features ...

Advantages: most stuff really Disadvantages: production and lyrics could be better and improved
Lil Wayne, is an brilliant rap artist, who has written some amazing songs, one of which he features in Enrique Iglesias's song, which is entitled "push it"
Lil Wayne raps out the begining at the chorus part and near the end, along to a brilliantly produced track with a great beat too.
Lil Wayne's solo albums and tracks are not as good as this particular track with Enrique Iglesias, and I do not like the music, production quality or the lyrics as ...

Advantages Mainstream Album, Cover Is Cool Yet Weird Disadvantages Lyrically Weaker Than Previous Efforts
...Lil' Wayne. Arguably the best rapper alive. This album was supposed to prove this point. If you are a hardcore Lil' Wayne fan i can't help but say you will disappointed by his latest effort in terms of lyrics you will prefer the carter II but in terms of overall ability, concepts and bars this is an amazing overall effort. The album opens with "3 Peat" which is not as fiery as an intro should be but the lyrics are hardcore. You get a mixture of songs on this album, but I believe his previous mixtape "Da Drought III" was a better overall effort. But if you are new to Lil' Wayne you will be amazed by such an album. You get an insight into soul through "Tie My Hands" with the legendary Robin Thicke a song which delves deeper into the real LilWayne. "Mrs Officer" features Bobby Valentino who serenades us with his melodious voice as Lil...

Advantages A few bangers Disadvantages He doesn't pay attention to rhyming on occasions
..."Tha Carter III" is the latest album in the "Tha Carter..." series by Lil' Wayne, who has boosted his popularity over the past few years without releasing a solo album since 2005 by appearing on collaborations with just about everyone, not just rap, or even that and R&B, but these and pop as he collaborated with Natasha Beddingfield.
Lil' Wayne never took a break from making music all through last year or the beginning of this, resulting in some material leaking. As the artist is so productive and is able to whip together tracks quickly, he decided to take advantage of what should be a negative situation by releasing "The Leak", using tracks which should have been found on "Tha Carter III", but as they had already been heard by a substantial audience, he may as well release the music offically to see how many haven't heard...

Review of Tha Carter II [PA] - LilWayne by

taken from ciao.co.uk
Advantages Consistant quality Disadvantages A few unncessary tracks
..."Tha Carter II", from 2005 was the fifth abum from Lil' Wayne. I chose to go back with the artist as he came with one of the most anticipated albums this year with "Tha Carter II", and this obviously acted as the led-up tune to it. It was the second in what will be a five-parter, one of many series which Weezy has on the go (if you count his mixtapes too), built I know that this was around the time where we saw a change in the artist as he began collaborating with anyone he could on the R&B and Hip Hop scenes (especially Destiny's Child's "Solider", Chris Brown's "Gimme That" and Fat Joe's "Make It Rain" around the time.
It had been said that "Tha Carter" was the breakthrough album for Lil' Wayne, but as that one, and this album didn't have any of its singles come across the pond, it wasn't until his various collabs went out from...

...Chamillionaire who's real name is Hakeem Seriki was born in Washington D.C. and now lives in Houston, Texas. "You see me riding and rolling..." Chamillionaire is has cool songs, he is a grammy winner for Best Rap Performance . His songs are cool for listening to. I always listen to their old cd in my car and I turn it up loud. In 2005 Chamillionaire released a cd called The sound of revenge that featured many famous rappers like lil' flip, lil' wayne, krayzie bone and many more. In 2007 he made Ultimate Victory, this one is cool too. It includes Krayzie Bone, Lil' Wayne, Tony Henry, Lloyd and others. I like his song Ridin', it became very famous and was played in the radio so much that I ended up liking it. I recommend it to anyone who likes rap....

Advantages: You can melt his CDs in the microwave. Disadvantages: You might have to hear his annoying voice once or twice on the radio.
...exactly the same. He isn't exactly any kind of role model, and all of his music is hideously overproduced. He's a great example of what rap and RnB have become these days.
Sometimes you'll find him partnered with subpar rapper LilWayne, that annoying man who likes to walk around with his pants around his ankles because it must give you street cred. Even if he duets with others, it doesn't excuse the fact that his music is absolute crap. The reason the radio is flooded with so much bad music these days is because people support mediocre talent that can't even sing or play intstruments properly, like T-Pain. His music should be relegated to video game soundtracks like in Need For Speed Carbon, etc. where you don't really have to listen, it just provides some noise amongst the car sound effects.
Don't waste your time on this loser....

...with several artists are also very impressive, from his duet with Alicia Keys in my Boo, to his hit song Yeah with Lil Jon and Ludacris, to his several renditions of Love in This Club which features Young Jeezy, Beyonce, and LilWayne. The song Before I Met You in his latest album Here I Stand is a favorite because the lyrics are meaningful. Aside from the fact that Usher is a great artist, a soulful singer, and a fantastic dancer, he is also a good family man. I usually see his pics carrying his baby around, and he's really proud of being a father to Usher Raymond V.
What more could you ask for in this artist? Take a break. relax, and listen to his music. I'm sure you'll get hooked to it too!!!...
