All in all i think the LexmarkZ12ColorJetprinter is a really neat little thing, although this printer isn't new on the market, it is a really good buy for people who are looking for a good printer that will do the simple tasks of what a printer should do but don't want to pay over the odds....

Lexmark 3200 is crap

...I got Lexmark 3200 with my computer two years ago, and it has been nothing but a pain. Firstly it takes ages to print. Secondly it is not automatic because you can't store like 10-20 papers in one time. You have to put one paper than the other and so on.
The cartridge finishes so quickly and to buy a new one is so expensive. But on the other hand it does has some advantages like it is cheap.
But Lexmark cannot match or compete with other popular printer makes. lexmark is also not good because it is not automaitic you have to do things yourself like feed the paper.
My conclusion is that it is not good overall. And not recommand it to people thinking to buy a printer....

...Printers have come down so much in price, but still, I never thought I'd get one this cheap!!
After recently buying a new PC, the next thing I needed was a new printer. Not wanting to break the bank I didn't want to spend a fortune on it, so opted to go for this budget printer from Lexmark. Priced at only around £60 the Z12 promises 1200x1200 dpi, 6ppm black \ 2ppm colour and suprisingly, given the price it claims to offer photo quality printing.
The printer offers both USB and paralell connectivity so it can be used with older PC's without a USB port. Suprisingly neither cable was supplied with the printer, which will add around £10 to the price if you have to buy one. I planned on using my existing paralell cable with the printer, but it turned out it was an older cable which didn't support bi-directional printing. Strange...
