Advantages: powerful components, solid, many interfaces
Disadvantages: too heavy, missing mini DVI port

Thinkpad t61pDescription I bought the t61p 3 monthes ago. It is a real power horse. Windows Vista runs very smoothely on this machine. The 1920x1200 screen resolution results in a very fine-grained text display. The t61p comes with a lot of interfaces including firewire, usb, wifi, card reader. The heat development (a problem in previous versions of the T-series) is moderate. Thinkpad t61p Disadvantages One big disadvantage though ...
...they could build it somewhat thinner and leighter (Lenovo has to learn from Apple here). Another disadvantage seems to me to be the lack of any DVI interface. Why should you be forced to buy the docking station just to use a DVI-only monitor.
