Advantages: Sturdy and Comfortable. Disadvantages: Well angles of viewing.
Lenovo weighing 6-pounds is a consumer level laptop, mid-range. Not that expensive around $600. The keypad is similar to that of the Thinkpad keyboards, almost the same. Provides more room for touch pad and its scrolling features. There is something about this Laptop that comes only with business laptops, the finger print scanner. The Speakers of the Laptop are not that special. Do not provide impressive bass at all. Good enough for games and music ... ...and not to forget nVidia Ge Force Go 7300, 256 MB dedicated memory. This configuration is more than just enough for my kind of gaming. Light and average kind of gaming just for passing time and relaxing, I think this is enough for the graphics to be taken care of.
Well the heat is controlled very well. The fan the otherwise irritating noise is slow. Speeds up only when temperature increases. The battery and power management can be tricky. It does ...

...victim of illusion as outwardly Lenovo 3000 N200 0769 seemed to him lacking sufficient luster. Lenovo 3000 N200 0769 is all for masculinity because of its robust strength , and yes, it must be considered as an elixir for the very very busy metro-trotting business personnel as well as for the young students of the professional premier institutes. Advantages: good price and design, reliable, ease of use Disadvantages: 512MB RAM is small
I had bought this Lenovo 3000 notebook when I was a university student. I used it for school work, playing games, as well as RAM-consuming design programs like Adobe Photoshop, illustrator. It really did a great job and met all of my requirements. I was very happy with it. The design is fun, stylish as well as being sophisticated. The keyboard is a good size as well. The battery life is about 2.5 hours (not great but not bad). There are 4 USB ports ... ...notebook mainly because I think Lenovo is a reliable brand and its low price. It is good for everyone who wants to use it for doing web browsing, working on a term paper, or using other programs. At present it is not a high end computer, which with only 512MB of RAM this isn't enough to play some extreme games. But for the price you won't also find many better deals than this one. It is a perfect laptop for a college student. I will highly recommend ...

Advantages Good build quality, includes Vista, reasonable performance Disadvantages Not sure about the Lenovo Suite of Programs included
... LenovoN20030000769 B5G Laptop I took delivery of my IBM/Lenovo Laptop from laptopsdirect.co.uk about 10 days or so ago. The price on the website is £429.97 however, I took a chance and opted for a 'box-opened' model at the price of £407.44. I ordered on a Sunday evening and received it on Tuesday lunchtime at a cost of £17.57.
On opening the box I found:
1 x laptop
1 x power cable
1 x Lenovo Service and Troubleshooting Guide
1 x Safety and Warranty Guide
1 x Quick Start Guide
and various regulatory notices.
The machine was in pristine condition despite the price reduction (the website does say that the machine was in A1 condition just the original packaging may be damaged).
First impressions where of a solid, quite large laptop in a silvery smooth plastic casing. The casing is rigid and does not flex under...

Advantages Nicely put together, full featured entry level notebook Disadvantages None yet
...From the moment I unpacked this little laptop I have been impressed. For one thing it came with a fully charged battery which is a nice touch and indeed everything about it is geared towards zero effort on the user's part. I was attracted to Lenovo because of the impressive specs for the money and reputation for reliability. A friend recommended them to me and without him I probably wouldn't have thought to go with them as all I had seen of them previously was a name on the Williams F1 car.
I originally intended to install Ubuntu Linux on this machine as it was advertised as Vista ready not as a fully installed out of the box system. I probably won't bother doing so now as most of the software you would expect to have to buy for Windows like Office is in fact included and preinstalled. Windows Vista Premium seems quite stable...

Lenovo 3000 N200 - well worth it

...I bought this laptop about 4 months ago, and it was so worth it! It may be bigger than some laptops but feels a lot more substantial. So far Vista has not caused any problems - fingers crossed - however I have not installed many new programs so have not had to search for patches. The lenovo maintenance and security options have proved useful. Bit slow to start up, but that could be due to the fact that i havnt taken as much care with it as it should. Also, the battery life is not the best, but the use of power saver option improves this greatly in my opinion. Dual core processor has made this a lot quicker than my old laptop. Overall I have found this a very worthwhile purchase....
