...Symbols' was the very first Led Zep album I purchased, my choice probably being influenced by the words "Stairway To Heaven" on the track list. But as it turnd out this is much more than a one hit album with fodder to fill the rest of the time. Much more. ...Not being a Led Zep fan when I first bought this album it took me a long time indeed to work out exactly what it was actually called. It just has four strange symbols on the cover you see. How was the younger and more stupider ickle me supposed to know it was called Four Symbols? It's too much for the mind to handle. Led Zepplin is a classic rock early hard rock band from England. They started in the late 1960's when vocalist Robert Plant, Guitarist Jimmy page, Bassist John Paul jones, and Drummer John Bonham. THe band recieved large amounts of popularity and commercial success with their first eight albums. The bad did experince some problems. There was substance abuse. ...day of binge drinking. The group disbanded after that. Page and Plant did solo projects with Plants being much more successful. The group did play some shows together for the live aid concerts. In 2007 The origional line up minus the late Bonham reuited and played. His son Jason Bonham played the drums. Musically they have probably influenced more musicians than any other group. Led Zepplin a classic rock band from England. I know not to many people know much about them. Neither do i. What i do know, is that they are legendary, and one of the greatest rock bands to ever perform. Along with others out there, i think you would agree that Led Zepplin are unique, and had some great songs out that we can all relate to. ...this. If you would give Led Zepplin a listen to, you would want to listen to them all the time. They are excellent for even the youngest of listeners. Led Zeppelin are another classic rock band that I really enjoy, considering that I usually prefer modern rock to old rock, which I would class this as. ...is the 2nd best selling album in the world, with over 40 million copies sold worldwide, only surpassed by Michael Jackson's "Thriller". Led Zeppelin What else can be said about them. They are perhaps the most influencing rock band in rock history along with The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd. Robert Plant in the vocals, Jimmy Page in the guitar, what else can you ask for. Their classics are beyond time, a few of them include: Rock n Roll, Heartbreaker, Black Dog, Celebration Day, Immigrant Song, Living Loving Maid, and many more…My personal favourite album is "Led Zeppelin III" Kiss Pure rock and roll power, a little less of poetry and depressing lyrics here, kiss is mainly a party rock band, all their classics are cheerful yet very potent. ...Thirty-odd years ago, we suddenly discovered heavy rock. The music weeklies were full of it, Alan 'Fluff' Freeman was extolling its virtues on the radio when he wasn't advertising Brentford Nylons (not 'arf, music lovers), even colour supplements were devoting the odd few pages to it. And the main Brandmeister were Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Free, Ten Years After and Deep Purple. Zeppelin didn't release singles, and they were so cool that sometimes they didn't even put their name on the album sleeve either. Sabbaff released one great single and loads of filler. Free issued a few stormin' singles before disintegrating. Ten Years Who? didn't exactly stay the course. Deep Purple had their membership wrangles as well - the classic Mk II line-up of 1970-72, the one which produced most of the classics, soon fragmented, they went out... Read review
