Dell Inspiron 1525
Review of Dell Inspiron 1525 by Ks21cowgirl

Advantages: Nice to be able to take your cool looking laptop on the go.
Disadvantages: Wish the batter would last longer then it does

I bought this Dell laptop for school. I really injoy my laptop. It is really all I thought it to be, but I don't like that it didn't come with a better user guide book. The book it came with doesn't really help you out in some area. As far as the laptop it self, it is great, I feel that for a school laptop this one was the best choice I could have found. I am greatful for the customer service at Best Buy were I got the laptop for pointing this one ... Read review

...the Midnight Blue edition from Dell China in Beijing and although it took a little time to arrive, it was so kool when it finally came! It's silver inside with a nice keyboard and touch pad. Ultra-thin size makes it really portable, especially great for students and people on the go! Features are really impressive for the low price. It has an impressive variety of colors, something for everyone. The array of ports is one of the best in a lightweight ...

M1330 Lightweight and stylish
Review of Dell XPS M1330 by mmross

Advantages: Lightweight, portable, stylish
Disadvantages: Glossy screen, small touchpad

I've had the Dell XPS M1330 for a little over a year now and I love it. It's very sleek and stylish. Most important, it's extremely light and portable. The M1330 comes with a protective case which has been useful for when I'm on the go. Even with Vista, the M1330 has been relatively easy to use. One recommendation is to go with the extra RAM. I started with only one gig of RAM and had difficulty operating the computer at times due to its slowness. ... Read review

A solid business computer
Review of Dell Latitude D630 by colangw

Advantages: Portable and powerful
Disadvantages: Display is not high-end

My IT department issued a Dell D630 to me on November 2007 as my travel / business computer and I have been very impressed with it's performance since. First, a disclosure: I have a strong computer support background so I can probably be considered an "experienced" or "expert" user. Given that background, I can deal or fix almost any technical problem that arises and this certainly has skewed my review to the positive. Having said that, here goes: ...
...(you should look at a Dell Latitude or perhaps a MacBook Pro). From a processor perspective, the Intel Core Duo provides lots of horsepower for crunching spreadsheets. You should make certain that you have enough RAM, so go for at least 2GB on that front. Anything less and you will regret your choice. As well, you should bump up your hard disk storage to at least 120GB, it's worth the nominal cost increase (and Dell periodically provides bundled ... Read review
